Job summary

Commercial Bank invites an experienced legal professional to join its Legal Department in Doha. The role provides legal support across business units, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

The candidate will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate finance, real estate, M&A, derivatives, and banking documents, collaborating with external counsel as needed and delivering practical solutions to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Legal degree required.
Minimum 6-7 years of experience.
Experience with international and financial institution banking documents.
Qatar banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal advice across international and domestic matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate General Corporate Finance, Real Estate Finance, Leverage Finance, M&A docs.
Engage external counsel to provide opinions or advice when needed.
Submit material matters to the Chief Legal Officer with assessments and risk analysis.
Maintain tracking records and prepare regular reports to management.
Ensure filing and maintenance of legal documents in both hardcopy and electronic systems.
