Job summary

Qatar Airways Group in Doha is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) for Light Maintenance to support flight operations. You will deliver maintenance activities, ensure safety and reliability, and supervise a team of mechanics within your authority.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in aircraft maintenance, 4+ years of related experience, and a Qatar Airways main fleet ICAO/QCAA certificate. Internal applicants must have EN.01 certification experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Diploma/Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
• Holds a minimum 1 full Qatar Airways main fleet ICAO/QCAA certificate, is must.
• For Internal applicant: minimum of 1 year job related aircraft certifying experience as EN.01

Responsibilities

• Plan assigned maintenance activities and supervise task execution.
• Review work procedures and propose improvements for efficiency.
• Release work to meet standards and ensure dispatch reliability.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to technicians and mechanics.
• Ensure adherence to technical and safety publications and customer procedures.
