Job summary

QNB Group in Doha seeks a senior professional to lead Islamic business development for international clients. The role focuses on developing Sharia-compliant, structured and investment products aligned with group strategy.

The incumbent coordinates with the VP Islamic Business Development and Group Functions, ensuring compliance with Sharia requirements while driving revenue and performance. A minimum of 10 years in international banking and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
• Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's Degree (related field of study)

Responsibilities

• Support development of Sharia compliant, structured and investment products for QNB's international banking client base in line with the Group's strategy.
• Coordinate with the VP Islamic Business Development and with Group Functions to support innovative solutions for international clients.
• Provide timely data and reporting to internal/external Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk with liaison to VP/IBD Management.
• Maintain high documentation standards to ensure compliance with Sharia directives and avoid penalties or reputation risk.
• Represent QNB International Islamic team at relevant conferences to enhance the organization's image.
