Job summary

Rosewood Doha is seeking an AV Technician to maintain, operate and troubleshoot audio-visual systems for luxury events in Doha. You will ensure equipment is safe, compliant with standards, and ready for high-profile functions, coordinating with event planners and hotel teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, on-site problem solving and proactive collaboration to deliver seamless guest experiences in a premier luxury setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment and lighting for events.
• Provide on-site technical support during events to resolve AV issues promptly.
• Ensure safety standards and proper use of PPE; report hazards to supervisors.
• Collaborate with event planners and Sales to coordinate AV setups and schedules.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inventory.
