Job summary

Talabat is seeking an Associate Supply & Operations Planning to join our team and help grow our tMart, the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The role focuses on supplier collaboration, demand alignment, and ongoing process improvements.

You will manage supplier fill rate, inbound schedules, and quarterly reviews, using Looker/Tableau for dashboards; strong Excel and ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in F&B/produce (F&V)
• Solid knowledge of distribution center operations, inventory control and basic finance
• Strong communication skills with hands-on approach and proficiency with several tools
• Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Very good English language skills would be highly advantageous
• Very good in Excel and ERP systems
• Quality and Food Safety related certificate is required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to manage supply and fill rates to optimize availability
• Implement S&OP cycle with suppliers and share SKU-wise rolling supply plan with stakeholders
• Coordinate with demand team to incorporate supplier constraints in the forecast
• Hold quarterly business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure plans are on track
• Build and manage reporting of service level dashboards using Looker and Tableau

Role Summary

We're looking for an Associate Supply & Operations Planning to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store "tMart", which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq.

What’s On Your Plate?

Supplier Fill Rate Management

• Coordinate with suppliers to manage supply and fill rates to optimize for Availability
• Build supplier relationships and engage with suppliers to enhance their Service Levels
• Manage the daily supply operations and drive process improvements with supplier and internal Demand/Store teams
• Manage supplier delivery schedules to ensure they are meeting internal Inbound receiving requirements

S&OP Implementation

• Implement S&OP cycle with suppliers by engaging in proactive discussions to improve Service Levels
• Build and share an SKU wise rolling supply plan with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with demand team to incorporate supplier constraints in the forward looking demand forecast plan
• Hold quarterly Business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure we are on track with the agreed plans. Highlight and drive corrective actions, where necessary

Monitoring And Reporting

• Ability to build and manage reporting of service level dashboards
• Ability to use multiple systems like Looker and Tableau to derive relevant data sets and prepare key reports

KPI Accountability

• Supplier Fill Rate, Supplier On Time Delivery, Supplier OTIF %

Qualifications

What Did We Order?

• You have at least 2-5 years of experience in F&V
• solid knowledge of all DC operations, inventory control and basic finance knowledge
• You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job
• Good communication skills and always like to be hands-on with several tools
• Additionally, you have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Language Skills: Very Good English would be highly advantageous
• Computer Skills : Very Good in Excel, ERP System
• Should Have Quality and Food Safety Related certificate
