Job summary

Hyatt International in Qatar is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to support the safety and security program across the property. You will help develop, implement, monitor and audit procedures to protect guests, staff and assets while upholding brand standards.

Ideal candidates will have a security certification and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in luxury hospitality. Strong organizational skills and operational insight are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Preferably with an expert diploma or certification in Safety and security.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Assistant Security Manager, or 4 years as Senior Gatekeeper or Group Leader – Safety and Security in a larger operation.
• Experience in luxury hotel brands is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Supervisor in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the hotel's safety and security procedures, including fire safety, staff safety and asset protection.
• Help ensure the effective running of the department in accordance with Hyatt International's standards and brand requirements.
