Job summary

SummitLogic in Doha is seeking an Assistant Baker to support the head baker in preparing breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This full-time role includes on-site work with accommodation provided.

You will measure ingredients, mix dough, operate mixers and ovens, decorate cakes, and keep the bakery area clean. Training is provided, and preference will be given to Malayalees or Egyptians due to language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work with precision.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
• No English language skills required but basic knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepare dough for various types of breads and pastries.
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens and dough sheeters.
• Monitor products while baking to ensure they are cooked properly.
• Decorate cakes and pastries as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
