Job summary

SummitLogic in Doha is seeking an Assistant Baker to support the head baker in preparing breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This full-time role includes on-site work with accommodation provided.

You will measure ingredients, mix dough, operate mixers and ovens, decorate cakes, and keep the bakery area clean. Training is provided, and preference will be given to Malayalees or Egyptians due to language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work with precision.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
• No English language skills required but basic knowledge is preferred.

As an Assistant Baker you will assist the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of breads pastries and other baked goods

• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers ovens and dough sheeters
• Monitor products while baking to ensure they are cooked properly
• Decorate cakes and pastries as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery or similar setting preferred but not required
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work with precision
• Physically fit to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
• No English language skills required but basic knowledge is preferred

Salary Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month
