Job summary

Flip retail in Qatar is seeking an Officer Asset Management - Administration to deliver custodian asset monitoring, maintain management documents, and prepare reports under delegated authority.

Key duties include providing asset management custodianship to stakeholders, supporting auditors with timely information, maintaining files, handling membership and investor database, recording transactions, and producing periodic NAV calculations for review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Audit or Financial & Money.
• 2-3 years experience in financial investment banking, ideally with previous experience in asset management.
• Good oral and written communication abilities in English and Arabic (favored).

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt asset management custodianship services to numerous stakeholders.
• Supply timely and accurate info to external and internal auditors when required.
• Maintain asset management files (licenses, programs, reports, etc.).
• Perform membership handling, certificate issuance and maintenance of investor database according to delegated authority.
• Videotape the purchase/sale of investments, according to written guidelines and broker/bank confirmations.
• Review all purchases by fund manager and adjust fund certificate rights and investor records per articles of association.
• Input data into the asset management database from prospectuses, articles and term sheets and inform Head of Asset Management of missing information.
• Prepare net asset value calculations and other periodic reports for Head of Asset Management.
• Record fund investments and exposure exemptions and inform Head of Asset Monitoring for escalation.
• Log queries/problems of fund managers, brokers, securities markets and internal divisions; escalate when required.
• Maintain utmost privacy and follow policies and procedures.
