Job summary

Qatar National Bank seeks an experienced AVP for Reporting and Taxation within Asset Management and Investment services. The role involves managing tax processing, overseeing reporting cycles, and coordinating with auditors and internal departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Applicants should have a strong foundation in tax regulation, financial statements, cost accounting, and a minimum of 10 years in a major international bank, with a track record of improving processes and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major in Tax/Banking/Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business Admin or IT (Masters preferred).
• Familiar with Tax Regulation and Legality, Financial Statements and Cost accounting.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, control operation costs, and provide accounting and administration services to support sales income.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely disclosures to stakeholders.
• Promote KPI monitoring and best practices for Reporting and Taxation responsibilities.
• Maintain efficient operations of Reporting and Taxation and supervise timely delivery of reports per local procedures and SLAs.
• Coordinate with funds, investment managers, brokers/banks to ensure timely data capture for reports.
• Manage asset management documents and profiles to ensure timely report delivery and accuracy.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with major in Tax, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or IT (Masters preferred)
