Job summary

H’Collective Architecture and Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Design Architect to advance architectural concepts from concept through completion. You will develop design packages under the guidance of senior architects, present ideas, and ensure alignment with client brief and deadlines.

You will work with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions using Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite, balancing design quality with project constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural and design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, D5 Render, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Maya and Enscape is an advantage.
• Ability to present architectural concepts clearly and explain design reasoning.

Role Purpose

H’Collective Architecture and Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Design Architect to develop architectural concepts, prepare compelling design presentations, and contribute to projects from concept through completion. Working under the guidance of senior architects, the successful candidate will take ownership of assigned design packages, communicate ideas clearly, and collaborate with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver coordinated design solutions. Success in this role requires strong creative and technical skills, experience translating concepts into detailed architectural designs, and the ability to balance design quality with project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural projects through concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration, under the guidance of senior architects.
• Take responsibility for assigned design packages, ensuring work meets the project brief, quality standards and agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate assigned architectural work with internal teams, external consultants and specialist partners, identifying design issues and supporting their resolution.
• Develop and refine design options through 3D modeling and visualization, using Revit, SketchUp, Enscape or equivalent software alongside Adobe Creative Suite.
• Assist in preparing design proposals, presentation materials and project interview submissions in collaboration with senior team members.
• Support junior designers with assigned tasks and share practical design and software knowledge, working closely with architectural and technical colleagues.
• Support positive client relationships by presenting assigned design work clearly, responding to feedback and following up on agreed actions.
• Contribute to collaboration across disciplines and apply H’Collective Architecture and Interiors’ design and documentation standards to maintain quality and consistency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural and design experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating concept development, design progression and technical documentation.
• Ability to present architectural concepts clearly and explain the reasoning behind proposed design solutions.
• Ability to develop designs that respond to client requirements, budget parameters, site conditions and project constraints under the guidance of senior architects.
• Working knowledge of sustainable design and universal design principles, with the ability to incorporate them into assigned work.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, D5 Render, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop are required.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Maya and Enscape is an advantage.
• Strong graphic presentation and visualization skills to communicate architectural ideas effectively.
• Ability to coordinate assigned work and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
