Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Airport Manager to oversee daily airport operations in Qatar, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service across all functions.

The role requires managing budgets, leading a diverse team, and coordinating with airlines, ground handlers, and regulatory authorities while ensuring compliance with ICAO and IATA standards. English fluency is essential; ACE/AMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Administration, or related field.
• ACE (Airport Certified Employee) or AMP (Airport Management Professional) certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in airport management or related field.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of airport operations, safety & security regulations, and customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily airport operations including flight scheduling, aircraft handling and passenger processing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations (ICAO, IATA).
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and experience.
• Manage the airport budget with forecasting, planning and controlling expenses.
• Liaise with airlines, ground handlers and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and manage a team of airport staff including supervisors and operations personnel.
