Job summary

Qatar Airways in Doha is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic - Paint Shop to perform maintenance in accordance with approved data, QR standards and procedures, ensuring safety and quality within timeframes.

The role requires ICAO Type II license, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and equipment proficiency in a workshop environment. You will contribute to timely aircraft component rectifications and adhere to PART-145 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of job-related experience with relevant diplomas or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of certifying experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Degree or license in Aircraft Maintenance with Basic ICAO Type II license.
• Trade related certificates and reinforcement training.
• Experience in a similar workshop within a recognized airline.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
• Operate equipment or tooling relating to the work area to meet time frame objectives.
• Interpret information across activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation.
• Meet productivity standards and work with minimal supervision under normal conditions.
• Perform department duties as directed by the head of the department.
• Ensure rectifications comply with QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements and quality standards.
