Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on modern fleets. The role requires adherence to regulatory standards and company procedures to ensure airworthiness and on-time operations.

You will supervise mechanics and technicians, provide on-the-job coaching, review maintenance data, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting safety, quality, and dispatch reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Valid ICAO/EASA/QCAA Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Current type rating on relevant aircraft type.
• Experience across multiple aircraft types, including A320 Family, A350, A380, B777, B787.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft technical defects.
• Review and ensure compliance with approved maintenance procedures and manuals.
• Ensure aircraft serviceability and airworthiness standards are maintained.
• Supervise Aircraft Mechanics and Technicians during maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Support aircraft dispatch reliability and operational performance.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in emergency recovery and operational support activities when required.
