Job summary

BSL in Qatar is seeking a Flying Clothing Bay Technician to perform detailed maintenance and diagnostics on Aircrafts Flying Clothing Bay components. The role requires producing and following technical procedures, ensuring airworthiness and adherence to AMC/SOW, and authorisation duties.

The incumbent will maintain currency via logbook entries, contribute to continuous improvement, and support the Flying Clothing Bay operations with fault evaluation and timely reporting to supervision.

Qualifications

• Broad and in-depth knowledge in the relevant technical area.
• Ability to derive and apply diagnostic techniques.
• Awareness of compliance with risks, SHE policies, and AMC procedures.
• Maintains currency via log books showing authorities for aircraft work.
• Capable of working with others to achieve department objectives.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed maintenance and diagnostic activities on Flying Clothing Bay components.
• Ensure work is completed per SOW/Work package using approved technical data.
• Resolve faults with awareness of configuration management.
• Carry out tasks on Pilots Flying Clothing components including removals, inspections, repairs, and tests.
• Maintain task authorisation and currency through logs/log books.
• Progress reporting against delivery targets to supervisor.
• Support MOE/AMC compliance with tooling/test equipment oversight.
• Raise ad hoc work cards for found faults.
