Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to join the maintenance team. Candidates should have strong base maintenance experience, with heavy maintenance and C-Checks on core fleets such as Airbus A350, Boeing B777, and Boeing B787.

Licences per ICAO/EASA/QCAA and fluent English are required. Responsibilities include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring safety and compliance with maintenance data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on base maintenance experience.
• Experience in heavy maintenance / C-Checks.
• Licence to maintain aircraft per ICAO/EASA/QCAA requirements.
• Good command of English; B2 licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Carry out Base Maintenance and heavy maintenance including C-Checks.
• Remove, inspect, repair and replace aircraft components and systems.
• Execute servicing, lubrication, functional checks and routine maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and defect rectification.
• Review maintenance data and ensure compliance with procedures and safety rules.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and maintain tools and workspace.

Job description

We are looking for experienced Aircraft Mechanics / Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join an aviation maintenance team in Doha, Qatar.

The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on Base Maintenance experience, particularly in heavy maintenance and C-Checks, with practical experience on core fleet: Airbus A350, Boeing B777, and Boeing B787.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
• Carry out Base Maintenance and heavy maintenance tasks, including C-Checks.
• Remove, install, inspect, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems.
• Perform servicing, lubrication, functional checks, and routine maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and defect rectification.
• Read and work in accordance with AMM, SRM, IPC, MEL, engineering orders, and other approved maintenance data.
• Conduct inspections and functional testing of aircraft systems and components.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Complete aircraft maintenance records and documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
• Support aircraft maintenance schedules and operational deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on Base Maintenance experience.
• Experience in heavy maintenance / C-Checks is highly preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance experience on one or more of the following:Airbus A350
• Valid ICAO, EASA, or QCAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, procedures, and approved maintenance data.
• Ability to read and understand aircraft technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Good command of English.
• B2 Liscence is Mandatory.

Preferred

• Previous experience with a commercial airline or MRO.
• Experience in heavy/base maintenance environments.
• Experience with multiple aircraft types.
• Previous experience working as certifying staff / licensed aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance systems and technical documentation.
