Job summary

UDST in Doha invites applications for the Lab Instructor position in the Aeronautical Engineering Department. The role focuses on supporting, delivering, and evaluating courses across related diploma and degree programs, while coordinating and supporting capstone projects.

The candidate will liaise with industry, participate in program reviews, and contribute to instructional development with emphasis on applied learning and modern educational tech tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of three years of full-time teaching and laboratory experience in higher education.
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate a broad range of Aeronautical Engineering courses and related diploma and degree programs.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning environment resources.
• Liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees; coordinate final-year/capstone projects.
• Keep course portfolio documents for program review and accreditation processes and engage in instructional and new program development.
• Enhance innovation within the College and employ contemporary tools to support learning.
