Job summary

Qatar Foundation International seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Academic Support Unit, ensuring seamless execution of training programs, events, and center activities in Qatar. You will coordinate scheduling, allocate resources, and ensure readiness for activities aligned with institutional priorities.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, vendor relationships, and team performance while driving process improvements and maintaining high-quality learner experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on business.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in managing and negotiating with vendors in a business environment.
• Strong project management skills with an acute attention to details.
• Demonstrating sound financial and business acumen.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit reports and communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Academic Support Unit, ensuring seamless execution of training programs, events, and center activities.
• Ensure timely scheduling, resource allocation, and logistical readiness for all academic development programs.
• Manage utilization of physical and digital resources to support high-quality learning experiences.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets for training and events, ensuring cost efficiency and policy compliance.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers for logistics, materials, and training delivery; ensure contractual compliance and service quality.
• Lead and develop the Academic Support team; set clear objectives and monitor performance.
