Job summary

Qatar Foundation International seeks an experienced operations and financial leader to ensure continuity of day-to-day activities at Al-Mujadilah. You will drive process improvements, budgeting, risk management, and governance across programs.

The role requires 6–8 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, support events, and oversee procurement and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6–8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level.
• Experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and budget preparation.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Governance and development, and with Risk Management.
• Experience interacting with executives, managers, and other high-profile individuals; knowledge of protocol & etiquette, and strong diplomatic skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; Oracle ERP financial application experience preferred.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, facilities support, and risk mitigation to ensure continuity.
• Develop and improve business support processes for efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and reporting variances.
• Establish records management and information governance for data accuracy and security.
• Prepare and monitor annual budget, cash flow, and financial performance aligned with strategy.
• Ensure timely financial reporting, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide consolidated reports to the Director for informed decision-making.
• Lead human capital functions including workforce planning and development initiatives.
• Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives with timely delivery.
• Manage procurement, vendor engagement, and contract management.
• Develop staff through performance management and training.
• Support events and facilities-related activities.
• Coordinate across departments to support programs and initiatives.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement to strengthen performance.
• Oversee maintenance of building facilities and resources.
• Manage procurement and contract negotiations with vendors and service providers.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
• Lead grounds maintenance and major construction projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
