Job summary

Careerwebsite in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead capital projects across architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will define scope, develop schedules, allocate resources, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of relevant work experience and an engineering/architecture background, with PMI/APM qualifications preferred and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience.
• PM qualification (PMI, APM, etc.) strongly desired.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• International experience, preferably in the Middle East; knowledge of QF is an advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Arabic proficiency as a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the timely delivery of Capital Projects assignments and objectives as per agreed service level with QF by providing architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical project management at the highest standards of quality
• Define the scope of work and breakdown structure for the project in collaboration with seniormanagement and shareholders
• Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
• Create a detailed work schedule which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
• Supervise the project execution according to the project schedule and comply with the contract terms and conditions
• Review the safety and quality of the work completed with the project team and contractors on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
• Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project Develop forms and records to document project activities. Set up files to ensure that all projectinformation is appropriately documented and secured
• Review project progress and remaining duration for schedule activities to ensure project is on schedule and develop solution to expedite deli very on key milestones
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
• Update reports on the project for management and communicate this to all involved stakeholders
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project progress as established during the planning phase
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
