Job summary

Planck Technologies is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management professional to join a strategic project within the European Medicines Agency environment. You will manage and secure hybrid identity infrastructures across on‑premises and cloud platforms, focusing on authentication security, access governance, and user lifecycle management.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in IAM, 3+ years in Microsoft hybrid identity, and strong AD/Entra ID experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 4+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• 3+ years with Microsoft hybrid identity environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD on-premises and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Experience with RBAC, access governance and MFA/Conditional Access.
• Familiarity with SailPoint and SAP identity processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain hybrid identity environments (AD and MS Entra ID).
• Monitor identity synchronization with Azure AD Connect.
• Manage Enterprise Applications, API permissions, and service principals.
• Implement and optimize Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access controls.
• Handle identity lifecycle processes including provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Collaborate with SailPoint and SAP identity teams and ensure governance compliance.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management professional to join a strategic project within the European Medicines Agency environment. This role focuses on managing and securing hybrid identity infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration, access governance, authentication security, and user lifecycle management across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Job Description:

Minimum experience required:

• 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft hybrid identity environments

It is mandatory that you:

• Already live in Portugal.

• Speak Portuguese.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Active Directory (on-premises) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Practical knowledge of Azure AD Connect, including troubleshooting synchronization and attribute mapping issues

• Experience managing Enterprise Applications and application integrations

• Knowledge of API permissions, secret management, and service principals

• Experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) models and access governance

• Familiarity with Just-In-Time (JIT) privileged access concepts

• Hands‑on experience implementing and managing MFA and Conditional Access policies

• Experience with user provisioning, deprovisioning, and identity lifecycle management

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, SSO, and federation concepts

• Experience working with identity governance platforms such as SailPoint

• Exposure to SAP-integrated identity management processes is considered a strong plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and Purview is valued

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain hybrid identity environments across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID

• Monitor and troubleshoot identity synchronization processes using Azure AD Connect

• Manage Enterprise Applications, API permissions, service principals, and application authentication configurations

• Implement and optimize Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access controls

• Investigate and resolve authentication, authorization, and access-related incidents

• Support identity integrations between Microsoft platforms and enterprise applications

• Collaborate with teams responsible for SailPoint and SAP identity processes

• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards related to identity management

• Participate in access reviews, entitlement management, and user lifecycle activities

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of identity security processes and operational procedures.
