We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Porto. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to cut and join metal parts according to blueprints or specifications. Your main duties will include preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, and performing quality checks on finished products.

To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience as a Welder and possess strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures. You should also have excellent manual dexterity and be able to read and interpret technical drawings. A good understanding of different types of metals and their properties is also required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to plan the layout of welding projects
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, or drilling holes
• Set up welding equipment according to specifications (e.g. type of metal, thickness)
• Operate various welding machines (e.g. arc, MIG) to join metal parts
• Inspect welded surfaces for defects and perform necessary repairs
