Skilled Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal products using various tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to understand project requirements
• Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and grinders to cut, shape, and smooth metal pieces
• Weld or solder metal parts together according to project specifications
• Use hand tools such as hammers and chisels to shape metal pieces
• Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy
• Repair damaged metal structures or equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metalworking or a related field
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in operating various tools and machinery used in metalworking
• Strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties
• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in different positions for extended periods of time

Salary

The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
