The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of back-/middle-office experience, a Bachelor’s degree in related fields, and proficiency in accounting OTC products. About The Job

BNP Paribas (BNPP) Wealth Management (WM) Markets Back‑Officer (BO) team is looking to expand into Portugal. This is a very interesting opportunity to join the growing Portugal International Markets Hub (PIMH) family as a Markets BO Senior Officer.

Your Main Activities

• Accounting of Over‑The‑Counter (OTC) products such as FX, IRS, FRA, Loans & Deposits, Derivatives, Fiduciaries, fixed‑term advance and mortgage credit.
• Validation of operations.
• Implement internal procedures and directives concerning forex, money market, and fiduciary activity, particularly in terms of controls.
• Ensure quality of operations with respect to deadlines.
• Analyse and report any anomaly and execution error.
• Participate in the permanent improvement of processes with daily suggestions.
• Communicate with other back‑offices teams, relationship managers and other WM entities.

Profile and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in back‑/middle‑office positions.
• Knowledge of banking activities and operations, particularly money markets, forex and OTC derivatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Fluent in English.
• Customer‑oriented.
• Aware of risk culture.
• Adaptable, flexible and proactive.

About the Team

The Markets operations team is responsible for accounting and settlement of money markets, forex and OTC derivatives operations for Wealth Management Switzerland and other European Wealth Management sites.
