BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Portugal is seeking a Corporate Action / Income Senior Officer to manage market announcements and the payment of corporate actions on client portfolios. You will act as SPOC in complex workflows and provide accurate information to clients and partners.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance/Management/Accounting, at least five years in corporate actions, strong Office skills, and fluency in English.

• At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Office and Back Office referential data tools.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Announce corporate actions/income events from the market and oversee payment on client portfolios.
• Understand market flows, contact stakeholders and perform required controls.
• Provide accurate, detailed information to clients and service partners about Corporate Actions and Income events.
• Keep procedures updated on an ongoing basis.
• Develop knowledge of markets, instruments and updates from information sources.

About The Job

BNP Paribas Wealth Management operations teams are a key department in Portugal. This is a very interesting opportunity to join the PIMH (Portugal International Markets Hub) family as a Corporate Action / Income Senior Officer.

Your Main Activities Are

• As a Senior officer of Corporate Action/Income team the responsibilities range from the announcement of corporate actions/income events received from the market to payment of such corporate actions on Client’s portfolios
• A Corporate Actions/Income Senior Officer should also be able to understand the complex flow of the market, using it to contact different stakeholders and to be able to do the controls associated to the activity
• Provide accurate and detailed information to clients and service partners pertaining to Corporate Actions and Income events. Guarantees the support of clients and other relevant stakeholders during the process
• Guarantee that all procedures are updated on an ongoing basis
• Develop knowledge of existing markets, their changes and financial instruments by making regular use of various information sources (Market Updates, Client Updates, market announcements, among others)
• Contribute to the training of new joiners by sharing knowledge, perform training sessions, adapt training supports
• Participate as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in transversal projects within the department or cross departments

Profile And Skills To Success

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management and Accounting
• At least 5 years of Experience in Corporate Actions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
