The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Faro. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring efficient and timely receipt, storage and shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and a strong understanding of logistics and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of warehouse workers including hiring, training and performance evaluations


• Plan and coordinate daily activities to ensure timely receipt, storage and shipment of goods


• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize storage space and minimize loss or damage


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials


• Use computer systems to track inventory levels, shipments and other necessary data


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of orders and accurate communication regarding inventory levels


• Develop and implement procedures for efficient warehouse operations


• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions and any discrepancies

Requirements

This is a contract position offering a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation is provided for the duration of the contract. This position is suitable for men with experience in warehouse operations.
