Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Warehouse Clerk in the Lisbon area to support inventory management and shipping/receiving operations. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, inspecting incoming goods, and preparing outbound orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in warehouse settings and familiarity with warehouse management systems and ERP tools. A high school diploma is required, with an associate’s degree in logistics or healthcare

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s with logistics, health care business, or related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role is desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software; strong knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: conduct regular inventory checks and highlight discrepancies.
• Storage Optimization: maximize warehouse space and organize stock labeling.
• Receiving Goods: inspect received goods, verify quantities, and document properly.
• Preparation of Shipments: pick, pack, ship, and prepare outgoing orders with compliance to regulations.
• Documentation Maintenance: keep records using the ERP and generate inventory reports.
• Safety and Cleanliness: ensure safety standards and clean the warehouse area.
