Job summary

Decision in Porto, Automotive Tech sector, is seeking a Warehouse Data Migrator with 5+ years of experience to lead data migration from existing warehouse systems to new platforms. You will extract, cleanse, transform, and load data, validating accuracy and documenting progress in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires strong SQL, experience with ERP/WMS, and familiarity with ETL processes, ensuring data governance and security throughout the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Warehouse Data Migrator.
• Experience with data migration projects, preferably non-SAP to SAP migrations.
• Knowledge of warehouse workflows and inventory management processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and SQL databases.
• Experience with SAP EWM, Windchill PLM, and transfer from non-regulated systems into regulated processes.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Transformation: Extract, cleanse, format, and transform data to meet new system requirements.

Responsibilities

• - Data Extraction & Transformation:
  o Extract data from existing warehouse management systems, cleanser, format, and transform data to meet new system requirements.
• - Data Loading & Validation:
  o Import data into target systems using approved tools and scripts.
  o Perform rigorous validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• - Documentation & Reporting:
  o Maintain detailed migration logs and documentation, and generate reports on migration progress, issues, and resolutions.
• - Quality Assurance:
  o Identify and resolve data discrepancies promptly and communicate erroneous patterns towards all stakeholders clearly and solution driven.
  o Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Years of experience

• - 5+ years of professional experience as a Warehouse Data Migrator.

Functional Skills

• - Proven hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably in non-SAP to SAP migrations, warehouse or logistics environments.
• - Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and SQL databases.
• - Experience with SAP EWM, Windchill PLM, and transfer from non-regulated systems into regulated processes.
• - Knowledge of warehouse workflows and inventory management processes.

Technical Skills

• - Proficiency in data migration tools, DQN and ETL processes.
• - Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data validation techniques.
• - Experience with Agile or hybrid project management approaches.
• - Knowledge of data migration best practices, including mock runs and cutover planning.
