UX Researcher: Shape End-to-End Cloud Experiences

Job summary

Altium is seeking a UX Researcher to shape end-to-end experiences across Altium 365. You will run conversations, test ideas before we build, and ensure learnings are findable.

You will collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers throughout the lifecycle, from framing to post-launch validation, with a high degree of autonomy. You will own the research practice, run interviews, tests, and surveys, and build a searchable insights database.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX/product research or closely adjacent role with substantial hands-on research work.
• Strong command of qualitative methods and ability to design surveys and interpret analytics.
• Experience testing prototypes at different fidelities and knowing limitations of each stage.
• Clear communication: land findings with skeptical stakeholders in minutes.
• Familiarity with research ops tooling (Dovetail, Condens, Maze, UserTesting, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Talk to users, regularly.
• Own the participant pipeline: recruiting, screening, scheduling, incentives, consent.
• Run interviews, diaries, surveys, and usability studies.
• Partner with designers and PMs to translate questions into research questions.
• Run usability and concept tests on wireframes, prototypes, and live features.
• Deliver findings with clear recommendations and trade-offs.
• Build and maintain the insights repository and connect findings to decisions.
• Coach teams to run lightweight studies and share findings effectively.
