Job summary

KWAN is seeking a UI/UX Designer for roles across Lisbon, Porto or Braga. You will design interfaces from research to high-fidelity mock-ups, translating user needs into intuitive products and presenting outcomes to stakeholders.

You'll conduct user research, collaborate with diverse design and development teams, and iterate across multiple solutions in an agile setting, ensuring impactful, user-centered design across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Strong storytelling and design communication abilities.
• Customer-obsessed with ability to explain design impact on users.
• Deep understanding of end-user mental models and translating them into interfaces.
• Naturally detail-oriented from research to specs and mock-ups.
• Ability to experiment with multiple design solutions from early stages.
• Experience delivering high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes to teams and clients.

• Design user interfaces and interactions for digital products, from research through to high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer.

• A good sense of end-user knowledge and mental models, with the ability to translate them into interfaces users can easily relate to.
• A naturally detail-oriented approach from research to mock-ups to specifications.
• A focus on productivity balanced with the ability to experiment with multiple solutions from the earliest design stages.
• Experience creating and delivering captivating keynotes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and functional prototypes to internal teams and customers.
• Strong analytical skills complemented by a creative and experimental streak.
• Ability to stay proactive while working across several different design and development teams.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Suite, or Sketch for prototyping and UI specification.
• Location: Lisbon, Porto or Braga
