Guardian Secure Services in Lisbon is urgently seeking a skilled Turner to operate lathes, mills, and grinders, reading blueprints and adjusting settings to produce precise metal parts. This contract role includes visa sponsorship and an immediate start.

You will inspect parts, maintain equipment, and work both independently and in a team. A minimum of 2 years’ Turner experience is required, with ability to read drawings and use precision instruments.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machining techniques and various metals.
• Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, grinders and other tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Available for urgent jobs with flexible working hours.
• Valid work visa for Portugal or willing to relocate with visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
• Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
