Job summary

Tekever Corporation in Portugal is seeking a UAV Field Product Engineer to be embedded with customer teams worldwide. This field-first role involves up to half your time at customer sites and the rest at our Caldas da Rainha campus, with frequent international travel to project sites.

You will develop customer-specific features on Tekever baselines, translate operational needs into technical solutions, and ensure system integrity across deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience across at least two domains (electrical, electronics, embedded software, telecommunications or mechanical).
• Proven ability to pick up unfamiliar systems quickly and build on top of them reliably.
• Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with customer teams in demanding field environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customer-specific features and integrations on Tekever's baseline systems.
• Work directly with customer engineering and operations teams on-site to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain system integrity while extending functionality for each deployment.
• Be the feedback bridge between field operations and Tekever's core product development teams.
• Travel regularly to customer sites around the world; this is a core part of the role.
