JobCenter in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a skilled Turner Technician to operate turning machines, read blueprints, and ensure precision in manufactured parts. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in machining and a solid understanding of machining processes.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, use calipers and micrometers, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues while following safety protocols. CNC knowledge is an advantage.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining techniques, tools, materials, and processes.
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate turning machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine work procedures
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and make necessary adjustments
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
