SynerData in Funchal, Portugal, is looking for a skilled Turner to join on a part-time basis. You will operate and maintain lathes, drills, grinders and other tools to shape and cut metal pieces according to specifications, with on-the-job training.

No prior experience required; visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens, flexible hours, and potential path to full-time. You will read blueprints and follow safety guidelines while building hands-on machining skills.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Turner is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and adjust machines according to blueprints or work orders.
• Operate machines to shape, bore, grind and drill metal pieces.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
