Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Cyber Defence Specialist to join our security teams. You will monitor, investigate and respond to cyber threats across endpoints, networks, cloud, and applications, translating complex findings into risk and remediation priorities.

The role requires strong investigative and analytical skills, the ability to work with multiple teams, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Cyber Security.
• Experience monitoring, detecting and responding to cyber threats.
• Ability to translate technical findings into risk and remediation priorities.
• Strong collaboration with SOC, Incident Response, Network and Cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and investigate security events, alerts and suspicious activity across endpoints, networks, identities, cloud environments and applications.
• Perform proactive threat hunting using telemetry and threat intelligence to identify malicious activity.
• Develop and improve detection use cases, correlation rules and detection logic.
• Assess threats, vulnerabilities and exploits to determine exposure and relevance to Vodafone.
• Support prioritisation of vulnerabilities based on exploitability and business impact.
• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, Network, Infrastructure, Cloud and Application Security teams.
• Contribute to Red Team, Blue Team and Purple Team activities.
