Caixa Mágica Software's Test Centre is seeking a seasoned QA professional to contribute to the test strategy, master test plan, and the design and execution of tests for life insurance and banking applications such as ORION, HERA, Wynsure and GLIS.

You will lead test design, coordinate analysts, manage tests in the tool, report risks, and ensure high quality. French language is mandatory; 5+ years in testing; Agile environment; travel outside Portugal possible.

Qualificações

• Degree in Informatics or related areas.
• Understand the project’s methodology and ISTQB vocabulary.
• Experience testing life insurance or banking apps is desirable.
• French language is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years in Test activities.
• Ability to build a test strategy and test schedule.
• Able to manage one or more software testers.
• Work in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of Octane, JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge in API and SQL.
• Risk identification and follow-up.
• Coordination and motivation skills.
• Able to adapt to changes and travel outside Portugal.
• Willing to work outside normal office hours in exceptional circumstances.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, design tests and ensure execution.
• Lead test analysts and report to project stakeholders.
• Design Business Analyst tests and input test subjects into the tools.
• Elaborate, validate and communicate all test deliverables.
• Prioritize tests and organize Business Analyst intelligence.
• Provide information for Go/No Go decisions.
• Execute tests and input results into the tool.
• Report risks of delays or quality issues to the Test Manager.
• Provide feedback on progress and test reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage test progress, defects and project committees.
• Identify anomalies and contribute to their correction and validation.
• Draft final reports and procedures; apply department test procedures.

The Test Centre provides test services to the company, based on a well-defined, matured and proven test strategy and methodology. Its main activities are tests design and tests execution. The Center has been involved in test projects for the main areas of the company, “Savings” and “Protection”, performing tests design and execution in most used applications such as ORION, HERA, Wynsure and GLIS.

What will you do?

• Contribute to the Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, design of the tests, ensure their execution, follow-up of the test analysts and report to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design of the Business Analyst tests within a project.
• Respect the project design and its deliverables.
• Input the test subjects into the dedicated tool, according to the standards in place.
• Ensure the elaboration, validation and communication of all the test project deliverables within his/her scope (in accordance with the standards in place).
• Guarantee the correct prioritization of the tests within his/her scope.
• Contribute to the organisation of the Business Analyst intelligence.
• Give the information necessary for the Go/No Go.
• Execute the tests within his/her scope of competence.
• Input the test results in the dedicated tool.
• Report any risk of non-commitment regarding delays or quality.
• Give feedback to the Test Manager and direct hierarchy on the progress of the project.
• Ensure the reporting of the Tests within a project.
• Ensure the communication to the project stakeholders through the creation of test reports.
• Manage project committees (test progress & defects).
• Identify anomalies within his/her scope.
• Input the anomalies into the correct tool.
• Contribute to the priorization of the project anomalies.
• Participate in the correction of the anomalies and posterior validation.
• Provide the necessary elements to draft final reports the report and procedures.
• Adopt the ETO Service Culture values.
• Apply the test procedures defined for the department.
• Participate in the workshop regarding these themes.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Informatics or related areas.

• Knowledge of the test methodology principles and vocabulary (ISTQB).
• Experience in testing applications for life insurance or banking products (desirable).
• French is mandatory.
