Consort Group Portugal is seeking a Test Analyst to design and execute tests across Savings and Protection domains. You will work within a defined test strategy, ensuring deliverables meet established standards and procedures.

You will contribute to planning, anomaly management and project reporting while ensuring quality across your scope. This role is based in Porto with hybrid work and a permanent contract.

Qualificações

• Degree in Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test activities; 5 years is desirable.
• Understanding of project methodologies and ISTQB vocabulary.
• Experience testing life insurance or banking products is desirable.
• Ability to build a test schedule; risk identification and follow-up.
• ISTQB vocabulary and test methodology knowledge.

Test Analyst

Within the Test Centre, you will contribute to the design and execution of tests for projects across the company's main business areas, including Savings and Protection.

You will work within a defined test strategy and methodology, ensuring that test activities, deliverables and results are managed in accordance with established standards and procedures.

You will contribute to test planning, execution, anomaly management and project reporting while ensuring the quality and prioritization of testing activities within your scope.

This is your mission

Build side

• Contribute to the design of Business Analyst tests within projects
• Respect project design principles and associated deliverables
• Input test subjects into the dedicated testing tool according to established standards
• Elaborate, validate and communicate test deliverables within your scope
• Ensure appropriate prioritization of tests
• Contribute to the organization of Business Analyst intelligence
• Build test schedules and organize testing activities

Run side

• Execute tests within your scope of competence
• Provide the information required for Go/No Go decisions
• Record test results in the dedicated tool
• Identify and report risks related to project delays or quality
• Provide progress feedback to the Test Lead and direct hierarchy
• Identify anomalies within your scope
• Record anomalies in the appropriate tool
• Contribute to anomaly prioritization, correction and subsequent validation
• Provide the necessary information for final reports and procedures

This is your background

• Degree in Informatics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Test activities
• 5 years of experience is desirable
• Understanding of project methodologies
• Knowledge of test methodology principles and ISTQB vocabulary
• Experience testing applications for life insurance or banking products is desirable
• Ability to build a test schedule
• Experience with risk identification and follow-up
