About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join the team responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and compliance of the products developed and manufactured by the company. The successful candidate will support the laboratory’s day-to-day operations, carry out tests, analyse data and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety tests on helmets in accordance with applicable standards.
• Carry out tests on raw materials and finished products, both in the production environment and during the development phase.
• Prepare technical reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Record results and test conditions.
• Analyse data, identify patterns, and assess trends.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing methods and workflows.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards.

Essential requirements

• A sixth-form qualification or relevant technical training in the fields of laboratory work, quality, engineering, materials or similar.
• Sufficient knowledge of English to interpret standards and technical documentation.
• User-level IT skills, including tools such as Excel, Word and internal software.
• A sense of responsibility, rigour, organisation and attention to detail.

• Previous experience in a laboratory, quality control or mechanical testing.
• Knowledge of testing standards for helmets or personal protective equipment.
• Ability to interpret data and graphs.
• Good autonomy and organisational skills.
