Job summary

Caixa Mágica Software is seeking a Technical Expert Developer to lead design, development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise applications in the Banking and Financial Services space. You will work on full stack Java-based solutions, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud migrations.

Ideal candidates have 8–15 years of professional experience, strong Java frameworks and cloud skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Full Stack development with Java-based technologies.
• Proven Cloud migration and modern architecture experience.
• Expertise in Microservices, REST APIs, and SOA.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services is valued.
• Proficient in Agile environments and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit) and data structures.
• Experience with SOAP/Web Services, RESTful APIs, JSF/PrimeFaces/Vue JS, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern DevOps tooling.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy applications and define modernization strategies.
• Develop and implement solutions with Vue.js, Java, JSF, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud technologies.
• Maintain and optimize existing applications; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure software delivery according to internal standards, including testing, CI/CD and integration processes.
• Participate in cloud migrations and modernization projects.
• Design and implement REST APIs and SOA components.
• Contribute ideas and best practices; promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Overview:

The leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player is seeking a Technical Expert Developer responsible for the design, development, modernization and maintenance of enterprise applications within the Banking and Financial Services environment. The role requires strong expertise in Full Stack Development, Service-Oriented Architectures, REST APIs, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The consultant will actively participate in the migration of Java applications to Cloud environments, contribute to the evolution of digital mobility solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

What will you do?

• Analyze and assess legacy applications and define modernization strategies
• Develop and implement solutions using Vue JS, Java, JSF, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud technologies
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of implemented applications
