Job summary

AKWEL is seeking a Project Manager in Portugal to lead low-to-medium complexity projects from design through industrialization, ensuring QCD objectives are met. The role requires coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and driving settlements from kickoff to closure.

The ideal candidate holds a Technical Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 3 years of related experience, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English. Start date ASAP, with department Business Development.

Qualifications

• Technical Engineering degree with 3 years' industrial experience in Research and Process Engineering.
• Or A-Level + 2 years of higher education with 3 years related experience.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other office automation tools.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects of low-to-medium complexity in line with design and industrialization processes.
• Lead a competent, multi-disciplinary project platform from kickoff to closure, including change control.
• Ensure compliance with QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery).

Job description

Responsible for the comprehensive management of one or several projects with low-to-medium complexity and economic impact, according to the product design and industrialization process and in compliance with QCD objectives.

Responsible for leading a competent and multi-disciplinary team (project platform) from the project kick-off to the project closure (including control of modification).

Requirements

College/University degree of Technical Engineering, strengthened by 3-years experience within the industrial field in Research and Process Engineering.

A-Level (High School Diploma) + minimum 2-years higher education, reinforced by 3-years related experience.

Professional abilities

Organizational skills, leading multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, decision making power, synthetic thinking, rigor, interpersonal skills, strong sense of confidentiality;

Proficiency in office automation packages (Word, Excel, etc.);

Command of English (required).

Technical knowledge
