InstaCreative India in Braga is seeking a Teamlead to oversee a software development team and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products. The role focuses on leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has proven teamlead experience, strong programming skills in Java/C++/Python, and familiarity with Agile tools. This full-time position expects strong communication in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

Teamlead - Software Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teamlead to join our software development team in Braga. As the Teamlead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their professional growth and success
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Monitor and review the team's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external partners
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and technologies used by the team
• Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team in a professional manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Teamlead or similar role in software development
• Strong technical background with expertise in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python etc.)
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience working on full-time projects is preferred
