Henley & Partners in Portugal seeks a Tax Assistant to support the Tax team in preparing and administering personal income tax matters for individual clients, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with Portuguese tax requirements.

You will handle fiscal representation tasks, IRS-related document reviews, and client communications while collaborating with the Tax, Legal and Compliance teams to maintain organized records and timely responses.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Management, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or administration.
• Basic knowledge of Portuguese taxation and accounting.
• Professional communication in English; Portuguese proficiency mandatory.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Support maintenance and updating of the client registry for fiscal representation.
• Assist with registering and updating information on the AT Portal (Portal das Finanças).
• Monitor AT notifications and relevant tax deadlines.
• Assist in keeping client information up to date and documents organized.
• Coordinate with Tax, Legal and Compliance teams when required.
• Assist with collection and review of documents for IRS declarations.
