Decskill, an IT consulting company with a strong presence in Lisbon, Porto, and Madrid, is seeking a Tableau Developer to design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports. You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, optimize large datasets, and translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Tableau experience, strong SQL and Python (Pandas) skills, and a background in data warehousing or ETL.

Qualificações

• Academic background in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid data structures and business logic knowledge.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Experience with ETL processes and data engineering.
• Professional Python experience, particularly Pandas.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Jenkins for deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to other visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.

• Keep up to date with Tableau features and best practices.
• Contribute to data solutions using Python and SQL, delivering final products via Tableau, APIs, and chatbots.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
• Work with large datasets, perform data cleansing, and optimize data queries for performance.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions aligned with their objectives.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to help users effectively leverage Tableau dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing dashboards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of dashboards, reports, and data sources.
• Keep up to date with the latest Tableau features and best practices.
• Collaborate across data processing activities, including Data Feeds industrialization, ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Visualization.
• Contribute to data solutions using Python and SQL, with final products delivered through Tableau, APIs, and chatbots.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Tableau Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of data structures and business logic.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with ETL processes and data engineering.
• Professional experience with Python, particularly Pandas.
• Experience optimizing data processes, including efficient queries and memory management.
• Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present insights to stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of and interest in financial markets.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and data visualization solutions.
• Experience with APIs and chatbots.
