We are currently looking for a System and V&V + Integration Engineer to join our team at Thales in Portugal!

Responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders to gather system goals and translate customer needs into engineering requirements and infrastructure designs
• Coordinate with Project Management and Design Authorities to ensure TopSky deployments meet timelines and quality standards
• Provide operational and technical support, including troubleshooting, system installation, configuration, and maintenance for TopSky and related systems
• Develop and execute test cases; conduct Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) with customers; track and validate corrective actions through Problem Change Reports (PCRs)
• Analyze, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure and configuration baselines to ensure optimal system performance and integrity

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics or Air Traffic Control
• Experience in system engineering, verification and validation and integration of complex systems, preferably in the air traffic control domain
• Written and Oral proficiency in English
• Availability to travel abroad for certain periods
