PwC Services Portugal is seeking a Sustainability Assistant Associate to join our Matosinhos-based team. You will contribute to enhancing non-financial reporting through robust risk and controls analyses and support audit engagements for international clients.

The role offers exposure to ESG frameworks, macro trends, and a chance to work with a Centre of Excellence for ESG within PwC. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent; ESG specialization is a plus.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulations (GRI, Taxonomy).
• Strong interest in ESG and sustainability topics.
• Excellent communication; adaptable to diverse profiles.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in advising clients to enhance non-financial reporting and governance.
• Participate in international client audits on sustainability information.
• Implement PwC ESG audit methodology and identify gaps.
• Seek opportunities across different environments and perspectives.
• Communicate findings in a structured and clear way.
