Nutreco is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to monitor forecast accuracy and bias, and to drive improvements in the planning process. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure accurate 18-month forecasts and timely input on promotions and trends.

The role requires strong analytical skills, fluency in Portuguese and basic English/Spanish, and a proactive approach to process improvement. The position is based near Alverca do Ribatejo in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias and identify improvements.
• Prepare an accurate 18-month demand forecast with stakeholder input.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain for inputs and actions.
• Ensure input from sales on seasonal effects, promotions and market trends.
• Lead and shape monthly demand meetings and communicate stock risks.
• Propose improvements to forecasting processes and implement changes.
• Prepare and monitor KPIs for forecast accuracy and bias.
• Participate in projects to improve forecast reliability.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for monitoring the forecast accuracy & bias and constantly looking for solutions and tools to improve the accuracy of the plan.

• Preparing an as accurate as possible demand forecast for all products with a horizon of 18 months in close cooperation with the stakeholders that


• contribute to this process (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain)


• Timely receive the right input from sales (and marketing) about seasonal effects, promotions, market trends, distribution changes, tenders, product


• introductions and product terminations


• Leading and further shaping the monthly demand meeting, in which the input from sales & marketing is discussed beforehand


• Timely informing of the organization when stock levels, outbound deliveries and/or customer service are at risk


• Proposing improvements to the forecasting process and putting it into practice


• The preparation and monitoring of the KPIs forecast accuracy and bias


• Participating in various projects with the aim of improving the forecast reliability and/or the forecasting process

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field


• At least 1 year of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning or Supply Chain roles.


• Analytical tools: excel and power bi


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Fluent Portuguese


• Basic English and Spanish
