Job summary

EDP, a global energy group, seeks a Substation Project Engineer in Lisbon to ensure quality standards and deadlines while coordinating cross-functional projects. Responsibilities

• Designing solutions and developing engineering projects in collaboration with designers and consultants to enable investment works and deliver Technical Dossiers to Substation Construction Teams for implementation.
• Managing investment projects with proper planning, schedule compliance, and quality execution in coordination with site supervision teams and project managers for civil works, digital systems, and network activities.
• Recording and managing projects in SIT and SAP (opening sub-orders, monthly invoicing, closing work orders, defining project parameters).
• Testing and commissioning of installations.

The role of the Substation Project Engineer is to ensure that works within this discipline are carried out with the required quality standards and within the established deadlines, while also ensuring the coordination of the overall cross-functional project.

What you will do:

• Designing solutions and developing engineering projects, in close collaboration with designers and consultants, to enable the execution of investment works and the delivery of Technical Dossiers to the Substation Construction Teams (PSEs) for implementation.
• Managing investment projects, ensuring proper planning, schedule compliance, and quality execution of works, in coordination with site supervision teams and project managers responsible for civil works, digital systems, and network activities.
• Recording and managing projects in SIT and SAP systems (opening sub-orders, managing monthly invoicing, closing work orders, and defining project parameters).
• Testing and commissioning of installations.
