Boliden Somincor in Portugal seeks an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to create, update, and track short-term production plans aligned with strategic goals. You will work daily with operational and technical teams to optimize mining activities and ensure plans are executable.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Knowledge of mine ventilation.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, and Vulcan.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop short-term production plans for a production area, defining production sequences and development activities.
• Ensure availability of headings by optimizing mining sequences, resource utilization, and access management.
• Provide technical support to Production and Development teams, participating in decision-making processes.
• Ensure plans are practical and executable with safety teams.
• Monitor compliance with production plans and propose corrective actions.
