H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods while ensuring continuous supply for production.

This role collaborates with Planning, Sourcing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in purchasing, SAP experience, and strong data accuracy, with fluency in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.

Qualificações

• Completed vocational training or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.
• Experience with SAP in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Procure materials based on production plans and forecasts.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and safety stock levels.
• Ensure timely material availability to support production.
• Maintain accurate material and supplier data in SAP.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and procurement performance data.
• Support supplier negotiations and maintain pricing information.
• Manage supplier claims, complaints, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sourcing, planning, and warehouse teams on process improvements.
