Job summary

Aurion is recruiting an Information Systems Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects for one of Portugal's largest telecom operators. You will connect business needs with software development and infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role covers full lifecycle management, risk control, and cross-functional coordination, applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in information systems project management through production launch.
• Knowledge of SDLC and dependencies between requirements, environments, development and testing.
• Understanding of infrastructure, cloud migrations, databases, networks and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP integrations with other systems.
• Advanced use of MS Project and familiarity with Jira/Trello.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Waterfall methods.
• Ability to manage scope, deadlines, quality, risks and dependencies.
• Ability to translate technical information into business language and vice versa.
• Leadership to motivate multidisciplinary teams and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent communication, resilience, flexibility and team spirit.
• Availability for on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Define scope and objectives aligning business needs with technology deliverables.
• Coordinate technical and operational teams, track schedules and resources.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across environments.
• Handle scope changes and crises with clear stakeholder communication.
• Apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies using suitable planning tools.
